Red Centre - Ochre Heartland

Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park

World Heritage-listed, the national park includes two of the world's great natural wonders: Uluru (Ayers Rock) and the domes of Kata Tjuta (Olgas). Climb Uluru; take a guided base walk, viewing Aboriginal rock art and sacred sites; walk into Walpa (Olga) Gorge; learn of the traditions of the Anangu people; view Uluru at sunrise and sunset.
Note: Traditional owners would prefer that visitors do not climb Uluru. The climb may be closed without notice due to weather or cultural reasons. No refunds will be given.

 

Watarrka National Park - Kings Canyon

Watarrka National Park has been home to the Luritja people for over 20 000 years, and is also home to the majestic Kings Canyon. Situated on the edge of the George Gill Ranges, Kings Canyon is a huge formation of weathered rocks and beautiful waterholes. At Kings Canyon: take a guided walk, enjoying views of the countryside and towering 100-metre walls; explore the 'Lost City' domed rock formation; walk down into the valley where the 'Garden of Eden' waterhole is found or take a relaxing stroll along the shaded canyon floor.

 

West MacDonnell National Park

West MacDonnell National Park is renowned for its beautiful gorges, waterholes and rich ancient landscapes. Attractions include: Simpsons Gap, where rock wallabies can be found in and around the rocky clefts and Angkerle (Standley Chasm), a stunning break in the range just five metres wide.

Arnhem Land

Litchfield National Park
